Neon Drift League

Neon Drift League is pure arcade fun. Tilt or tap steering, and the whole game is about chaining drifts to fill a boost meter you dump on the straights. The tracks are bright, the sense of speed is real, and the soundtrack does a lot of heavy lifting.

Car upgrades are straightforward, and the tuning options let you lean toward grip or slide depending on your style. I preferred the touch controls over tilt, but both are responsive with almost no input lag on my mid-range phone.

It won't reinvent racing, and the campaign runs a little short. But as a game to open when you've got five minutes and want a rush, it nails the feeling.
